When couples tell me they are super awkward in front of the camera, and then I send them a gallery like THIS.
S&D had a tiny registry office wedding at Marischal College which they opted not to have photographed. In fact, they weren't sure if they wanted any photos of their wedding day, but eventually decided it was too important an occasion to rely on relatives' phone snaps. They arranged to meet me for private couple photos at Duthie Park Winter Gardens after their ceremony, and all three of us were very glad they did!
You can't tell from these photos, but S&D were nervous about being stiff and uncomfortable in front of the camera. With a whole hour to play with, we took things at a very leisurely pace, strolling around the gardens, looking at the plants, and stopping every now and then for a few photos. Don't they look like complete naturals?
We should all have somebody look at us the way these two look at each other.
S&D said:

And, of course, we ended the session at the bench where they spent their first date.
