Photos of another Aberdeenshire photographer, this is Alyssa Kaye, a gorgeous human who takes nostalgic family photographs with the occasional wild elopement thrown into the mix.
Alyssa and I were both needing new professional photos of ourselves, so we arranged to swap photography sessions - she photographed me, and I photographed her (I'm using one of her photos here).
We headed to an Aberdeenshire beach on a glorious sunny day in September, and spent a good few hours chatting, laughing and snapping pictures, playing around with our favourite techniques (I love a silhouette and a bit of sun flare!).
Alyssa wanted relaxed, whimsical photos of herself frolicking in the dunes - and I think we fulfilled that brief!
I also brought along my "crystal ball" (it's actually a photography tool) which I LOVE photographing. I'm always happy to bring it to photo sessions, but we have to be careful not to use it in direct sun as it's a fire risk! Thankfully, the big grey clouds came over and helped us out at this session!
