Quick Note: While I photographed several Winter Gardens weddings this year, all of the couples have opted to keep their photos offline (*sob*). If you would like to see my most recent Duthie Park wedding galleries, let's arrange a Zoom call and we can whizz through them together. Okay, back to our regular blog post:

A lot of the couples I photographed in 2024 had been together for over a decade, but, at seventeen years, Mel and Dwayne were the definite winners!
Their ceremony was held in the beautiful David Welch Winter Gardens within Aberdeen's Duthie Park. Conducted by a registrar, it included a traditional handfasting.
Mel and Dwayne had booked both the venue and photography for two hours. This was plenty of time for the ceremony, group photos in the courtyard, and some couple shots in the Japanese Garden while their guests enjoyed a drink.

They then headed off to continue their celebrations elsewhere.
