Hi! I'm Sarah (she/her)!
I'm an Aberdeen wedding photographer for creative couples
And a family photographer for kids who like to run wild
From a very young age, I've seen the world in pictures.
Many long car journeys around Scotland were spent pretending I could take photographs by blinking my eyes.
It was a constant source of frustration that I couldn't stop the train so we could all admire the view.
It's STILL a constant source of frustration that I can't stop the train so we can all admire the view.
I - finally! - got a camera for my tenth birthday, and there was no stopping me.
I mean: there has been an eclectic selection of jobs along the way (cinema projectionist; disgruntled office worker; sales assistant; writer of assorted kinds), but photography was always what I did for fun.
IMAGINE getting paid to do the thing you do for fun. And watching people have the time of their lives. And giving them something to remember it all by.
That's what I do now and I LOVE it.
Away from photography, I'm a reader, a wanderer and a feeder of garden birds. I'll take you on long walks and point out every chiffchaff that I hear. If we grab a cup of tea and a slice of cake along the way, so much the better. I like a dry sense of humour, ridiculous flights of fancy, and extravagant oversharing. Also comfy shoes.I'm married to a man, but, yep, I'm still queer, so I'm a full on, big-you-up supportive type for LGBTQIA+ couples and families. I'm also here for the neurospicy folk and for making sure everyone, in every body, in every family set up, is shown the beauty of their everyday life.
I write all of these rambling words myself, so you can be sure that the personality you're seeing on the screen matches the person you're meeting on the day.
And I WOULD love to meet you on the day. The wedding day; the main character adventure day; the mucking around with the kids in a pretty location day; as long as there are people laughing and getting a bit giddy, every day is good with me.
