Can you keep a secret?
Couples photo shoots are my favourite.
Oh, I love all the other sessions I do, but there's nothing quite like two people in love taking a little bit of time to really celebrate each other.
No other couple loves each other in exactly the same way that you two do. You have your inside jokes, your secret smiles and your history of stories both special and silly.
You have something worth celebrating.
So let's do that.
Whether you're looking for an Aberdeen photographer for a proposal or engagement photo shoot, an anniversary session, or simply to get some really cool pictures of the pair of you, let's go out and have fun.

Where Should We Have Our Photo Shoot?
From a sunrise stroll on the beach to an autumnal session in the woods, cosying up indoors to splashing through muddy puddles, Aberdeen has no shortage of beautiful locations for photo shoots.
Sometimes couples come to me with clear ideas and brimming Pinterest boards, raring to go.
But mostly they don't. Mostly they know they want beautiful pictures and... that's as far as they've got.
That is no problem at all. I am HERE for brainstorming, I know plenty of cute locations and I love helping couples come up with the perfect pictures.
(And I've written a blog post which might help)
My Photo Shoots Are For Everyone
It should go without saying but let me shout loudly just in case that all my photo shoots are for EVERYONE. All fellow members of Aberdeen's LGBTQIA+ community will be seen and celebrated by me, and I strive to be inclusive of everyone. If you don't yet see yourself represented on my website, please know that I wish you did - either I've not had the chance to take those photos yet, or the couples I've photographed have chosen to keep the photos offline, but all love, all bodies and all identities are celebrated here*.
*Except for people who are now muttering about woke photographers, obvs. They can go elsewhere.

how much does a photo shoot cost?

my pricing is simple: Everything is Included
£250 for one hour of photography and all your digital images
If you're big adventurers, you can add on extra time for £150 per hour.
Here's how it works:
For sessions booked more than six weeks in advance, a 25% deposit secures your date with the remainder due two weeks before your session. For photo shoots arranged with less than six weeks' notice, the full payment is required at the time of booking. The fee covers both your photo shoot and all your digital images; there are no additional fees to receive your digital images.

Review text reads: "My partner and I had the most beautiful morning with Sarah at the beach last week. She has an amazing skill to be there - but you feel like she’s not there, to really capture the authentic, natural moments. We didn’t feel awkward at all, she encouraged us to just be ourselves and she would snap away. We had so much fun jumping in the waves, dancing up on the hills and being silly in the sand. I was full of the cold when the pictures got taken and really wasn’t feeling my best, so wasn’t sure how the pictures would look. The photos were incredible. They weren’t posed or “staged” looking, they were so natural and captured exactly us. The laughter, the love, the joy - us laughing, dancing, hugging, laughing some more. I feel it’s such a hard decision choosing a photographer and I cannot recommend Sarah enough."
