When K told me the locations she wanted for her Aberdeen main character photo shoot, I shrieked. These are places I have gone around and around with my camera, on my own, taking urban architecture shots and WISHING somebody would see their potential for portraits.
They did not disappoint.
And as for K? My goodness, this woman has style.
K wanted gritty, grungy photography in heavily graffitied urban locations. She likes the editorial style with strong poses and direct lighting and, if she doesn't look like she belongs on an album cover right now, I don't know who does.
