Have you been to Somerville Books yet? Aberdeen's newest indie bookshop, located in Rosemount, it's a calm, welcoming, inclusive space and well worth a visit, all book lovers.
As soon as I saw the first Instagram posts from the bookshop, I knew I wanted to take photos there (city couple's shoot, anyone?), so, when owner, Christie, got in touch to ask if I could take some branding photos for her... well... let's just say my reply was giddy and barely intelligible.
Somehow, we made it through my rambling, and managed to set a date. Christie had a fantastic mood board for her session and wasn't afraid to rip up some old books for the sake of a good photo.
Honestly, is there anything more fun than lying on the floor, chucking torn pages around?! We had so much fun creating these pictures.
