Alice and Declan - what a couple! They filled their Marischal College wedding with DIY details and followed their ceremony with a jaunt around their old haunts for couple photos. You're going to want to see these.
You can't go far wrong with a Marischal College wedding - it's a beautiful space and I've yet to meet a registrar who wasn't warm and welcoming.
Alice and Declan chose to involve their younger siblings in their ceremony by having them bring up the rings. As a jewellery designer, Alice had designed and made the wedding rings herself. She and her bridesmaids had also made their own bouquets, tied with ribbons embroidered with their names.
Alice and Declan no longer live in Aberdeen, so decided to spend an hour after their ceremony getting couple photos in some of their old haunts.
When a couple tell me they want to dance on top of the car park where they used to skateboard, I AM THERE FOR IT.
We also had an impromptu trip into Video Games Aberdeen where they found the secondhand game Declan had been searching for for months!
See if you recognise any of these locations...
And, you know, when you get married on your sixth anniversary and spot this sign... well... it had to be done!
If you're looking for an Aberdeen wedding photographer and this looks like YOUR kind of fun, let's talk!
This is an inclusive, affirming, queer-owned business set on celebrating everyone with photos which feel true to you. Covering most of Scotland with packages starting from one hour for Marischal College (two hours elsewhere), I would love to hear more about your plans.
