Aberdeen Newborn Family Photography
Every newborn photo shoot is beautiful. Every time I get to meet and photograph a tiny new person into the world is an absolute treat.
But this one was extra special, because mum, Hannah, and I first met when our seven year olds were tiny babies and I couldn't wait to meet her family's newest addition.

Hannah and family knew that they didn't want the typical newborn photo shoot, with their baby wrapped up in a basket. They wanted photos full of love, energy and personality.
We headed to a particularly pretty part of town on a glorious summer morning. Parents and baby spent a fairly chill hour relaxing in the shade, while I got to pay a whole load of attention to the bigger sister.

Those bracelets are Claire's Accessories knowing their target market right there. I love the little details which people add to their outfits and the toys and accessories which they choose to bring along to their photo shoot.

Alternative Relaxed Family Photography in Old Aberdeen
What a perfect hour this was. Not just cuddles and a catch up, but we found (almost ripe) cherries hanging over our bench and tried to string daisies into chains. We found flowers in every colour we could think of and counted four different types of butterflies.

And a special shout out to the fluffiest, friendliest, best dog ever who successfully stole the limelight whenever anyone walked past!

Thank you, Hannah, for inviting me along to share this time with you. Same date, same place next year?

Hannah's Review of Their Family Photography Experience with Me:
This was our second shoot with Sarah and she has always captured exactly what we are looking for and I love our photos so much.
As someone who generally doesn’t like getting their picture taken, Sarah makes everything so relaxed and natural you don’t even notice her snapping away on the camera.
We will certainly be going back for more photos in the future.
